“Trouble” is the first of two new singles to be released on Five Finger Death Punch‘s greatest hits compilation “A Decade of Destruction“, coming December 1st!
Five Finger Death Punch was in a court battle with their former record label Prospect Park, which the label sued the band for breach of contract, claiming the band was rushing into recording more music. Prospect Park claimed the contract prohibited the band from beginning to record new material until nine months have passed since the release of their latest album. The band has since signed on with Rise Records and back in April filled a lawsuit against Prospect Park to release them from their contract and to pay damages.
The band’s last album “Got Your Six” was released on September 14, 2015. It spawned 5 singles from the album which were “Jekyll and Hyde”, “Wash It All Away”, “My Nemesis”, “Hell to Pay”, and “I Apologize.”
Ivan Moody, the band’s front man had been dealing with substance abuse, causing him to leave the band last November of 2016 for treatment. The band continued the tour with Phil Labonte of All That Remains filling in for Ivan and Tommy Vext of Bad Wolves filling in for their European leg. Ivan has since returned and Five Finger Death Punch has played shows recently at Aftershock Festival in Sacramento, CA and Rock Allegiance Festival in Camden, NJ.
